Grattage Wallpaper โ Pale Jade
Finnish artist Hanna-Kaisa Korolainen has created this beautiful wallpaper design inspired by the Surrealistโs technique of โGrattageโ which involved laying a canvas painted with thick oil paint over an uneven surface and then scraping back the paint in areas to reveal interesting textural effects.
โI have always been influenced by the past| crazy visuals of 1930โs and 40โs. Fashion| art and popular culture like Elsa Schiaparelli| Emil Nolde and David Bowie inspire me too.
